Jennie Love

In 2008, Jennie launched Love 'n Fresh Flowers, an urban flower farm located in Philadelphia. She grew up on a 5th generation family dairy farm in central Pennsylvania and had trained as a professional horticulturalist at Longwood Gardens, but there were a lot of lessons yet to be learned in the flower fields. She began podcasting in 2020 at the invitation of Jesse Frost of No-Till Growers. Since then she's used the podcast as a way of getting her own burning questions answered and connecting growers and researchers around the globe.

She is the founder of the Regenerative Flower Farmers Network, a community of growers dedicated to healing the earth one stem at a time. She is also a past president of the international Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers.

Jennie has led hundreds of workshops over the years, including regularly sold-out courses at her farm and classes for Longwood Gardens and the Barnes Foundation. She also frequently presents for floriculture and farming conferences, garden clubs, trade associations, and other organizations. A passionate farmer and artist, Jennie found her natural niche as a farmer-florist for wedding and event design for 15 years and became recognized leader of the local flower movement. Her work has been featured in the New York Times and Martha Stewart Weddings, among other notable publications.

Jennie is also the founder and leader of the Philadelphia Floral Guild, a wholesale flower collective launched in 2022 serving more than 300 florists in the mid-Atlantic region. Through the Guild she hosts another flower podcast called Floral Guild Radio.
